Upland sends players who break the rules to Alcatraz. Both steps are written to the chain (the Upland appchain since 28 April 2025, EOS before that): one transaction puts a player in, another lets them out.
- A stay starts with the jail transaction and ends with the first release for the same account after it.
- In Alcatraz means the player's latest stay has no release on the chain yet.
- Released stays have a release transaction. "Typically" is the median stay.
- A ban wave is a group of players jailed in the same minute.
- Our chain history starts on 20 March 2023. 196 releases belong to players jailed before that and are not counted as stays.
- Players without a name are accounts we have not looked up yet. Click a date to see the transaction: on the Upland ledger, or on bloks.io for the EOS years.
